100 Days Campaign cum Survey of Greywater Management Status – Aizawl District
100 days Campaign “Sustainability of ODF Gains and achieving million soak pits” has been in operation witin Aizawl District. Thirty two (32) villages were covered till date, this programme includes awareness campaign on the checklist for ODF Plus Village, awareness on the necessities of proper greywater management for every villages to become an ODF Plus is the main target of this campaign. Greywater Management done from different funding sources such as 15th FC and MGNREGS were identified in each villages.
Apart from the campaign, Survey on the location of Community Leach Pit were also being identified alongside the programme in each villages. Measurments were taken for the PVC pipeline span. Grey water from three(3) to fifteen (15) households were assumed to be connected to a single leach pit. The result of the survey i.e. Number of Proposed Community Leach Pit are as follows :
