Construction of Underground RCC Reservoir at Lengpui Airport

As of now, requirement of treated water for Lengpui Airport is approximately 1 lakh litres per day. When the Airport is operated in full swing, a considerable volume of water, in addition to domestic uses, needs be available always inorder to meet demand in case of any exigency and eventualities. The available storage capacity within the Airport is approximately 5lakh litres only. Keeping in mind the availability of rain water which could be collected out of the proposed Dam during rainy season, Underground RCC Storage Reservoir of 10 lakh Litres capacity is under construction.
